Chloe Snow

Chloe Keeney Barkley is an accomplished, classically trained violinist/violist who plays with a diverse group of musicians from orchestras to rock bands.  

She began playing violin when she was 4 years old with Yoko Abe Acheson.  In San Francisco, she studied chamber music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studied at the Advanced String Program at Stanford University and held concertmaster and principal viola with the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra.  

She studied with Oswald Lehnert and Erika Eckert at University of Colorado at Boulder with a merit based full scholarship where she received a bachelor's in violin performance and played concertmaster in the campus orchestra.  She went on to play in Irish fiddle groups, jazz ensembles, classical and pop music groups in New Zealand, Japan, South Africa and Indonesia.  

She currently primarily resides in the Roaring Fork Valley, but travels worldwide to perform acoustic and electric violin. When not playing music, you can find her snowboarding, skiing and enjoying the outdoors.
